ANZ FalconLens Competition Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. The Promoter may engage its service provider, Keep Left Pty Ltd (Keep Left), to conduct the competition.

Entry is open to all Australian residents 18 years and over. Employees of ANZ (and their immediate families) are not eligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to request a prize winner to provide proof of age and identity. If the companion of a prize winner is under 16 years of age, the Promoter also reserves their right that parental or guardian consent has been granted and has been provided to the Promoter.

The promotion commences at 10:00am AEDT on Wednesday, 8 January 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Sunday, 19 January 2025 (Promotional Period).

To enter the promotion, you must, within the Promotional Period:
a. visit the competition landing page www.falconlenscomp.com.au and complete the form; and
b. follow the prompts to create your own falcon on falconlens.com.au.
There is a limit of one entry per entrant.

The draw will take place at 11:00am AEDT on Monday, 20 January 2025 at 125 Ferrars Street, Southbank VIC 3006. Prize winners will be notified in writing and by telephone immediately by Keep Left and the first initial and surname of the winners will be published on the competition landing page. Each prize winner must respond by 11:00am AEDT on Wednesday, 22 January 2025 to confirm their acceptance of the prize. The postcode of the winner will also be published online unless that winner requests otherwise. If Keep Left does not receive confirmation by a prize winner by this time, that prize winner will forfeit their prize and a re-draw will occur in accordance with clause 16.

There will be two (2) prize draws and two (2) prize winners drawn electronically from all entries received.
The first prize winner will receive:

Two (2) tickets to the Men’s 2025 Australian Open Final at Rod Laver Arena (Sunday, 26 January 2025).

Two (2) return flights for the prize winner and their travel companion from the prize winner’s nearest capital city to Melbourne.

Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two persons (twin share) at Lanson Place Parliament Gardens 502 Albert St, East Melbourne VIC.

One (1) $300.00 Visa gift card.
The second prize winner will receive:

Two (2) tickets to the Women’s 2025 Australian Open Final at Rod Laver Arena (Saturday, 25 January 2025).

Two (2) return flights for the prize winner and their travel companion from the prize winner’s nearest capital city to Melbourne.

Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two persons (twin share) at Lanson Place Parliament Gardens 502 Albert St, East Melbourne VIC.

One (1) $300.00 Visa gift card.
Victorian prize winners are not eligible for airfares and no compensation will be paid in lieu.
The total maximum retail prize bank value of all of the prizes combined is $17,218.00 including GST.
7. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not exchangeable, transferable and non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash.
8. All Australian Open tickets are issued subject to the Australian Open Ticket Conditions of Sale and Entry 2025 (which can be found online at https://ausopen.com/conditions-of-sale-entry).
9. Tax implications may arise from the prize winnings. Independent advice should be sought.
10. Airline flights will be selected by the Promoter or Keep Left. Choice of airline and flight times is not an option for prize winners. Once booked, any changes to flights and associated costs will be at the expense of that prize winner. If that prize winner cancels or misses their flight, new flight bookings will be at their own expense.
11. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. If for any reason a prize winner is unable to accept the prize as stated in clause 6, that prize winner will forfeit the prize and no compensation will be given in lieu.
12. By accepting the prize, the prize winner consents to Tennis Australia Limited using their, or their child’s (if applicable), personal information and photographing/recording their, or their child’s (if applicable), image while they, or their child (if applicable) participate in any activity or event run or organised by Tennis Australia which constitutes part of the Prize. The prize winner agrees that any such photographs, electronic images, sound recording or video footage may be used by Tennis Australia in resources and reports, or promotional, advertising or marketing materials, without any further notice or payment to the prize winner or their child (if applicable).
13. The prize does not include travel insurance, taxes that are not included in the price of the ticket, meals, spending money, incidental costs relating to accommodation, including but not limited to room service, telephone, in-room video, mini bar, transfers (including, without limitation, laundry bills, bar bills and phone calls), expenses incurred for items purchased, excess luggage, or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Where applicable, these costs are payable by the prize winner. All elements are subject to availability at time of booking. The prize winner may be required to produce a credit card upon check in to hotel for any incidentals.
14. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and their travelling companion.
15. All travel is subject to availability at all times. Each prize winner and their travel companion must be available to travel in order to attend the respective match being the Women’s Finals match scheduled for Saturday, 25 January 2025 or the Men’s Finals match scheduled for Sunday, 26 January 2025. Both travellers must depart from the same airport and must travel together. Any travel to or from the airport from the travellers’ home(s) is the responsibility of the travellers. All bookings and documentation regarding the prize must be made via the Promoter or Keep Left.
16. ANZ and Keep Left reserve the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these competition conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. For any prize that remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, Keep Left will conduct a further draw at 3:00pm on Wednesday, 22 January 2025 at the same place as the original draw, subject to any applicable law. The prize winner will be notified in writing and by telephone immediately, and the first initial and surname of the winner will be published on the competition landing page. The postcode of the winner will also be published online unless that winner requests otherwise.
17. Keep Left will collect personal information and may use this personal information for assessing and processing your entry into and conducting the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry into the Competition is conditional on providing this personal information.
Keep Left may collect or process this information from you directly or through service providers who collect your personal information on Keep Left’s behalf.
Keep Left will also use and handle personal information as set out in its privacy policy which can be viewed at https://keepleft.com.au/privacy-policy/. The privacy policy contains information about how entrants may update their preferences, access, update or correct their personal information, and how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.
18. Subject to relevant regulatory approval, ANZ is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or a consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
19. ANZ will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from incorrect details lodged by entrants.
20. ANZ reserves the right to vary the rules of any competition or any prizes offered or cancel any competition without prior notice. ANZ will not be liable for any losses to any party arising from any variation or cancellation.
